Disclaimer

What this website is — and, just as importantly, what it is not.

Effective date: August 16, 2026  ·  Version: 1.0

We built this site to help Houston-area homeowners understand their roof before they spend a dollar on it. It explains what we do, shows work we have finished, and lets you start an inspection or a preliminary estimate. It is a starting point for a conversation — not a substitute for someone standing on your roof, and not a promise about your particular home.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information about roofing and remodeling. It is not legal, engineering, insurance, financial, or public-adjusting advice for your situation.

Reading is not hiring

Browsing this site, using a tool on it, or sending us a message does not create a contractor–client relationship. That begins with a signed agreement.

The contract governs

If anything on this website ever conflicts with your signed proposal, scope of work, or warranty document, the signed document controls.

Estimates, calculators and online tools

Our 60-second estimate, pricing guide ranges, and any calculator on this site produce preliminary illustrations built from typical Houston-area assumptions. They are not a quote, an offer, or a contract. Real pricing depends on measurements, pitch, layers, decking condition, access, material selection, and scope — none of which a web form can see. A binding price exists only in a written agreement signed by you and PL Roofing & Remodeling, LLC.

Inspections, photographs and measurements

Roof inspections, drone and aerial imagery, satellite measurements, and photographs record what was visible and reachable on the day they were taken. They have real limits:

Conditions can be hidden

Damage under shingles, inside decking, behind flashing, or within a wall cavity may not be visible without removal. Additional conditions are sometimes discovered only once work begins; those are handled as a written change to the scope, not as a surprise.

Conditions change over time

A roof that passed an inspection in one season can be damaged by the next storm. An inspection is a snapshot, not a forecast, and it does not predict how long a roof will last.

Measurement reports are estimates of geometry

Aerial and satellite measurement reports are produced by third-party providers from imagery. They are accurate enough to plan and price from, but field verification governs the final material order.

Photos are illustrative

Project photography and galleries show work we have completed. Materials, colors, and site conditions differ from home to home, and screen color is not a reliable match for a physical shingle sample.

Insurance claims

PL Roofing & Remodeling, LLC is a roofing contractor. We are not a public insurance adjuster and we do not represent you before your insurance carrier. We document what we find and provide a contractor’s estimate you may give to your carrier. We do not file, negotiate, adjust, or settle claims, and we cannot promise that a claim will be approved, that any particular amount will be paid, or that a carrier will accept our estimate.

We also do not pay, rebate, absorb, or discount your insurance deductible. Texas Insurance Code §707.057 prohibits it, and your deductible remains your responsibility under your policy.

Results, reviews and project examples

Reviews and project examples describe individual experiences. Roofs, budgets, carriers, and timelines differ, so nothing shown here should be read as a prediction of what your project will cost, how long it will take, or how your claim will be handled.

Materials and manufacturer warranties

Shingle and material information — including product lines, colors, and wind or impact ratings — comes from the manufacturers and belongs to them. Manufacturer warranties are issued by the manufacturer, on the manufacturer’s terms, and can depend on correct installation, ventilation, and registration. Our own workmanship warranty is separate and is provided in writing with your project agreement.

Other websites and third-party content

Where we link to a manufacturer, a financing partner, a review platform, or another outside site, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content, its accuracy, or how it handles your information. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave ours.

Financing

Financing is offered through an independent third-party lending partner, not by PL Roofing & Remodeling, LLC. Approval, rates, terms, and funding decisions are made by the lender. Any payment figure shown on this site is an illustration based on assumptions you choose — not an offer of credit, a rate quote, or a guarantee of approval.

Emergencies and safety

This website is not an emergency service. Do not use a web form to report an active emergency. If there is danger to people, structural collapse, exposed electrical wiring, or fire, call 911. For an active leak or storm damage, call us at 832-860-0354. Please do not climb onto a damaged roof yourself — that is what we are for.

Website availability and accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Pricing, product availability, service areas, and program details change. If a detail matters to your decision, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PL Roofing & Remodeling, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your reliance on general information published here. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Texas or federal law, and nothing here reduces the obligations we take on in a signed agreement with you.
